The rains have arrived... it's a wet wet day. The new waterfall here at Big Rock is flowing full force for the first time since we moved in. It really feels like the end of the year.. next Wednesday is my last day at work for 2002! It's hard to stay motivated, yet there is a lot of pressure to finish off projects that I don't want hanging over my head when we get back from vacation.

We have been reading about Maui and getting psyched up for our trip. Hawaii is always hard to visualize from afar - somewhere, over the ocean, tradewinds are blowing and it's always 80 degrees, and the air smells of flowers.

Tonight we'll go see the new Star Trek movie, and tomorrow night is the company party. The holidays are so fun!
