Funny, I was just thinking about posting a photo today when I saw Bob's squirmy-wormy entry. Photo Friday's theme is "Soft", which makes me think of Lola's soft belly and how many pictures Barb has taken of that, but instead, in keeping with the Spring of it all, I'm posting an iris picture I took last week in the backyard.



This year, the flowers all bloomed at once. Simultaneously, we enjoyed daffodils, tulips, iris and roses. It's so early in the year that the deer are busy eating the good things in the hills and haven't wandered down the street to nibble on the roses yet. And since the weather has been just right, the roses are blooming like crazy. So we have a profusion of blooms.

Oh well, I might as well put some softness here, too:
