How interesting that Bob's blog today references the Moon Illusion. Just last week, as I was driving home from chorus, the full moon rose. Although I know intellectually that it's an illusion, I still can't believe it. I had my camera with me, so I pulled off the freeway and snapped a photo. The evidence proves that it is merely a moon the size of any moon seen at any time, however, in my memory it will loom ever so large and glorious.
